Top 100 Sneak Peek

RC’s Top 100: The Top 10 Roofing Contractors of 2026

There’s a shake-up among the top-tier of roofing contractors on the Top 100 list, led by roofing’s first $2 billion company.

The process of creating RC’s annual Top 100 Roofing Contractors List is nearly complete, and while there typically isn’t a lot of change at the top of the list, this year’s collection includes a few firsts. For the first time in at least a decade, a residential roofing company seized the top spot from a commercial roofer. Leaf Home, formerly Erie Home before last summer’s blockbuster merger, commanded the stop spot among revenue earners with more than $2 billion generated in roofing and gutters.

That edged out perennial Top 100 topper Tecta America, which reported $1.6 billion in revenue last year. CentiMark Corporation, which has topped list or reported second for the past ten years, opted not to submit this year as a management decision, company officials said.

Backed by Gridiron Capital, company officials with Leaf Home said several factors led to their success, including talent development, strong leadership and disciplined execution of goals.

“We will keep our momentum by delivering exceptional quality and service, guided by our purpose of crafting home solutions for generations and our commitment to creating lasting value for homeowners.” its submission stated.

Tecta America celebrated six acquisitions in 2025 and maintained the top spot among commercial contractors again, despite a challenging year in the commercial space.

The key, officials said, was an unwavering commitment to quality, safety, continued growth across the company, and a strong focus on delivering responsive service that keeps customers coming back.

“We’ll continue building on the fundamentals that have driven our success by investing in our people, maintaining our focus on safety and quality, growing our service business, and delivering the exceptional customer experience our clients expect,” President and CEO Kevin Palmer said.

This year’s top tier of roofing contractor entries (top ten ranked by revenue) ranged between Leaf Home’s $2 billion and the $335 million generated by Omnia Exterior Solutions. Officials said they cracked the Top 10 with organic growth throughout the business, driven largely by better systems and technology.

“We've focused on improving our sales technology and tools to better help our customers, while at the same time continuing to invest in our systems and tools,” said Jim Ziminski, chair of Omnia’s board of directors. “It is a huge honor (to be Top 100), and a testament to the hard work of every single team member of Omnia.”

Expect the full Top 100 List to publish in early August. For now, enjoy this sneak peek of the best of the best – the Top 10 roofing companies of this year’s Top 100.
