RC’s Top 100 2020: The Next 50

As in year’s past, the number of roofing contractors willing to share their annual revenue totals to be considered for RC’s 2020 Top 100 List was way too large to slot into just 100 spaces. So we again continue to share the ‘Next 50’ — contractors that submitted for this year’s list and are positioned for continued growth this year, despite any impact from COVID-19.

Among this group are solid roofing contractors from both the residential and commercial sectors; our collection of ‘ones to watch,’ and with some of these tips could be locks for our list in 2021.

For example, Amstill Roofing and Greenawalt Roofing Company (ranked 117 and 104, respectively) each made Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 List for 2020, signifying they are among the 5,000 fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the U.S. Greenawalt Roofing, located in Lancaster, Pa., recorded a 595% increase in revenue when comparing 2016 and 2019.

“This year we celebrated our 15 years of superior service and growth,” said Brittany Loeffler, marketing director for Greenawalt Roofing. “We worked hard this past year. We increased our revenue from previous years and surpassed the $10-million mark. 2019 was the year of storms for us. We blew this out of the park this year sales wise. We even added on more storm guys to help push our sales even higher.”

Like the Top 100, the RC team collected 2019 annual sales revenue totals independently submitted by roofing companies from across the country. The revenue information, reported throughout the first part of 2020, served as the basis for the next top 50’s rankings:
