RC’s Top 10 Roofing Contractors for 2020
The annual publishing of RC’s Top 100 List is traditionally reserved for the month of August — when the majority of the industry is in the midst of peak season and gearing up for a final push to finish the year strong. The COVID-19 crisis has had a way of changing traditions this year, including how we deliver the latest news and relevant information impacting the industry.
Since we’re no longer “constrained” by the production timeline and circulation logistics of a print magazine, we figured why not unveil this year’s list a little early? Well, at least a portion of it. Where better to start than with the Top 10?
Certain companies like CentiMark Corp. and Tecta America are no surprise at the top. Yet there were some notable omissions, including Freemont, Calif.-based PetersenDean and North American Roofing. Yet others made repeat appearances and shared a little about how they got it done.
“We have multiple strategic partnerships, well-trained and equipped teams in five geographic locations, and a diverse skill set which has allowed us to work on multiple projects in a variety of business verticals,” said Haley Steed, marketing manager for Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal.
The commercial roofing company from Wheeling, W. Va., made its sixth-consecutive top 10 appearance with $124 million generated in 2019.
“It’s a prestigious honor that we take tremendous pride in,” said Deborah Brown, marketing coordinator with BEST Contracting Services Inc.
The Gardena, Calif.,-based contractor reported more than $144 million last year.
“It solidifies that our business methodology is successful and our client-first culture is effective,” Brown said.
