The Single Ply Roofing Industry (SPRI) association announced the retirement of Managing Director Linda King, whose tenure of supporting SPRI spans more than 30 years.
During her time with the association, SPRI said King played an “instrumental role” in not only managing the association but fostering collaboration among members and driving numerous key initiatives that have advanced the single-ply roofing industry.
“Working with SPRI has been a huge part of my life for over three decades,” King said in a written statement. “I am immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished as an organization and thankful for the incredible colleagues, partners, and industry leaders I’ve worked alongside. While it is bittersweet to step into retirement, I am confident that SPRI will continue to thrive and advance the important work we began together.”
During her tenure, SPRI expanded its influence through advocacy, technical resources, and partnerships, solidifying its position as a trusted voice in the construction and roofing sectors.
“Linda’s commitment and passion for the roofing industry will be deeply missed, not only by SPRI but by all who had the privilege of working with her,” said SPRI President Scott Carpenter. “Her unwavering support has left an indelible mark on our organization, and her achievements will continue to benefit the industry for years to come. We wish her all the best as she enters this exciting new chapter of her life.”
