NBA player Bill Walton will deliver the Keynote Address during the 2009
International Roofing Expo, Feb. 3-5, 2009, at the Mandalay Bay Convention
Center in Las Vegas.
Held immediately
prior to the opening of the show, the Keynote Address, “Nothing but Net,” will
take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the South
Pacific Ballroom E.
Firestone Building Products Company LLC
recently added three new distributors to serve its customers in Georgia and
Tennessee. Bradco Supply and JGA/Southern Roof Centers in Georgia and Metro
Roofing Supply in Tennessee are the distributors of Firestone products
effective immediately.

Inc. and CRS Sales and Marketing, LLC will be the exclusive suppliers of
Carlisle roofing materials in Georgia and eastern Tennessee beginning Dec. 1,
2008.
Hanson Building Products North America announced that it has combined its
roof tile, hardscape and brick product lines into one division called Hanson
Building Products – Lightside, which is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
CertainTeed Corporation has introduced enhancements to ColorView, the
company’s online interactive exterior style and color selector. Homeowners can
now visualize how CertainTeed’s high-end roofing, vinyl and fiber cement
siding, trim, fencing, railing and decking products look on various home
styles.
In the third quarter of 2008,
The Garland Company Inc., Cleveland, Ohio-based manufacturer and
distributor of high-performance solutions for the building envelope, was the
recipient of two regional and one national awards honoring its contributions in
a variety of areas.
