The Metal Construction Association (MCA) recently honored two of its members - Dick Bus and Jim Bush - with two significant awards - the Larry A. Swaney Award and Patrick R. Bush Volunteer Service Award respectively, at its Annual Meeting, January 25, in San Diego, Calif.

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. U.S., Inc., is pleased to announce a major expansion of its Bryan, Ohio, manufacturing facility. Already under way, the expansion will increase the size of the plant to over 200,000 square feet and will involve two phases.

Brad Segal, former President and COO of Bradco Supply Corp., has joined the Aerialogics executive team, sharing in company ownership and taking a leadership role establishing strategic alliances that will further develop product offerings and grow the company’s aerial measurement services business.

The W.P. Hickman Company announced that it has completed the purchase of an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Arden, N.C. It is anticipated that manufacturing operations will commence at the new plant in the second quarter of 2011. 

The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), a regional association for residential and commercial roofing contractors, distributors, manufacturers and associates who maintain the highest industry standards, announced the 2011 Golden Hammer Award winners, who were honored at the 11th Annual Awards Banquet and Gala.

The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association announced that the association’s President, Jared Blum, has been named Chairman of the Board of the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI). Blum succeeds Dick Ottinger, who founded EESI while serving as a Congressman in the 1980s.
