SRS Distribution has been identified by Inc. magazine as being among companies that have passed the billion-dollar revenue mark — and just keep growing.

Inc. released the information in discussing “the biggest revenue drivers on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list.” As previously noted by Roofing Contractor, 16 roofing companies made the list.

The list ranks the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, based on percentage revenue growth when comparing 2014 and 2018.

The new list of 10 companies features those who have achieved “fast growth” and “massive sales” as indicated by “eye-popping revenue figures.”

SRS Distribution was No. 7 on the list with reported 2017 revenue of $2.2 billion and three-year growth of 106 percent.

“A four-time Inc. 5000 honoree, SRS Distribution is a national wholesale roofing products distributor that serves independent roofing contractors across the country. The McKinney, Texas-based company has made more than 30 acquisitions since its 2008 founding and now has over 220 locations in 42 states.”

As reported by Roofing Contractor previously, SRS recently opened new locations in Indiana, New Jersey, Georgia as well as Michigan, Oregon, Connecticut and New York. In August, SRS acquired Crown C Supply Co. and in July the company acquired part of Pennsylvania’s Interstate Building Materials.
