MCKINNEY, Texas — SRS Distribution announced that it has opened four new greenfield locations across the U.S.

These sites are in Plymouth, Mich.; Salem, Ore.; Waterbury, Conn.; and Oceanside, N.Y. Each location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products and focus on servicing professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and local homebuilders.

The opening of a new Willoughby Supply location in Plymouth marks the company’s fourth location across Michigan as SRS continues its expansion efforts across the state.

The Salem location complements the company’s existing RoofLine Supply footprint along the I-5 corridor from metropolitan Portland to Eugene.

The Waterbury location marks a fourth Connecticut location for SRS and the first expansion under the Metro Roofing Supplies banner.

Lastly, the Oceanside location, operating under the National Building & Roofing Supplies banner, extends the company’s geographic reach to Western Long Island and enhances overall market coverage.

Dan Tinker, President and CEO of SRS Distribution, said, “We are excited to open four new locations in great markets with talented people who have a desire to be joint owners of the company alongside hundreds of other employee-owners and our two financial partners. We are proud of our growing greenfield program, which we attribute to attracting and developing the best talent, while allowing them the freedom to implement their own independent, local strategy backed by our capital and resources.”

SRS currently operates 23 distinct local brands encompassing more than 225 locations across 42 states. SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.

The company has been expanding its footprint.

Most recently, SRS announced it has acquired part of Pennsylvania's Interstate Building Materials.

In June, SRS announced three other newly opened locations in Arizona, Virginia, and another in Michigan.
