Service First Solutions Unites Commercial Roofing Peer Groups at Annual Summit

Commercial roofing service leaders from across the country will gather in North Texas for collaboration, education, and industry connection.

Service First Solutions will bring together commercial roofing contractors from across the country for the 2026 Service First Summit, Nov. 9-11 at the Cascades Conference Center in The Colony, Texas.

The annual event brings together members of Service First Solutions' service-focused peer groups, creating an opportunity for contractors who face many of the same challenges to step outside of their individual businesses and learn directly from one another.

Unlike a traditional conference built primarily around presentations, the Service First Summit is designed to encourage conversation and collaboration among contractors focused on growing and improving their repair and maintenance operations. Attendees will have opportunities to discuss challenges, exchange ideas, compare processes, and learn from the experiences of other service leaders.

“One of the most valuable things we can do is get good contractors in the same room and let them learn from each other,” said Tracey Donels, founder and CEO of Service First Solutions. “Nobody has every answer. But when you bring together people who are willing to share what is working, what is not working, and what they have learned along the way, everybody leaves better than they came.”

The Summit will begin with a welcome reception on Nov. 9, followed by two days of programming where attendees will have opportunities to network with fellow contractors and connect with industry sponsors that support commercial roofing operations.

The Service First Summit builds on Service First Solutions' ongoing peer group program, which connects noncompeting commercial roofing contractors throughout the year through structured virtual meetings and in-person gatherings. The program gives service leaders a consistent forum to discuss operational challenges, share best practices, and learn from contractors performing similar roles in markets across the country.

Service First Solutions works with commercial roofing contractors to build, optimize, and scale profitable repair and maintenance departments. Through strategic consulting, peer groups, field and office training, and industry specific resources, SFS helps contractors improve the processes, people, and performance behind their service operations.

Donels said his goal for contractors in attendance is pretty simple.

"To not only determine what the next step is for their service department's growth, but to meet two to three other people who have taken that step and can share their experiences, both good and bad," he said.
