Tecta America Focused on People, Partnerships Under New Leadership
Get a candid glimpse at the leadership driving the top commercial roofing company on this year’s Top 100 in this exclusive episode.
Tecta America celebrated 25 years in business with six major acquisitions and by generating more than $1.6 billion in revenue in 2025. That was good for the top spot among commercial roofing companies represented in RC’s Top 100 List in 2026.
Behind the scenes, the company also transitioned through a new leadership phase. In this episode of the RC’s Best of the Success Podcast Show, we recently caught up with longtime former President/CEO Dave Reginelli, who is stepping away from the business at year’s end. Joining in also is new President Kevin Palmer, who is stepping fully into the leadership role after more than two years shadowing Reginelli, and two decades with the company. Both shared their outlooks for the remainder of 2026, and what lies ahead for an industry in constant change.
Tecta’s New Leadership
Tecta America, a national leader in commercial roofing and a perennial Top 100 roofing contractor, is officially under new leadership as President Kevin Palmer takes over all responsibilities for the retiring Dave Reginelli. RC recently caught up with both to discuss the transition, the state of commercial roofing, and where the roofing industry is headed in this exclusive episode. Listen to the full conversation here.
What won’t change, Palmer insists, is Tecta’s focus on its people.
“The passion that our people bring to every situation, every single day is really the differentiator,” he explained. “the success breeds additional success. Our people take additional accountability that I think is probably above and beyond the norm in just a normal, everyday work situation.”
Despite challenges in the commercial sector, Reginelli said Tecta’s project backlog is the strongest it’s ever been, and the company’s versatility remains a key strength.
“We’re so diversified, and we have no concentration in any industry or any type of roof system, and in any geography, so we’re diverse,” he said. Watch the full conversation here.
