FAR Introduces FiberMaxx Single-Pass Roofing System
Fluid Applied Roofing (FAR) has introduced FiberMaxx, a single-pass, fiber-reinforced fluid-applied system designed to make commercial roofs leakproof and preserve them.
The system provides leak-resistant protection, structural reinforcement and long-term roof preservation in one application. According to FAR, FiberMaxx does not require seam pretreatment, reinforcing fabric, or multiple coating applications, helping contractors reduce installation steps, labor requirements, and opportunities for application error.
FiberMaxx can also provide building owners with an alternative to a complete roof tear-off and replacement. FAR reports that the system can cost 40% to 60% less than replacement while minimizing disruption to building operations. Its reflective technology is designed to lower roof surface temperatures by 60 to 80 degrees, potentially reducing long-term energy costs.
Renewable warranty options include a three-year Preserve warranty and a 20-year MAXX-20 warranty, allowing contractors and building owners to select coverage based on the roof, project requirements and available budget.

MuleHide TempReady Gun Monitors Adhesive Temperature
Mule-Hide Products has introduced the TempReady Gun, a dispensing assembly that helps roofing contractors confirm Helix MAX Low-Rise Adhesive is within the proper temperature range for application. Included with Helix MAX Low-Rise Adhesive — Dual Tank, the gun uses a built-in sensor to monitor material temperature as it flows from the tanks. LED indicators show whether the adhesive is ready for use: blue below 70 F, green within the recommended 70 F to 90 F range and red above 90 F. Helix MAX is a two-component polyurethane adhesive used to bond Mule-Hide insulation and fleece-back TPO, PVC and PVC KEE HP membranes to various substrates.
The 25-foot, battery-powered assembly also features a self-engaging safety mechanism that automatically reactivates when the operator releases the trigger, helping prevent accidental dispensing. The TempReady Gun is packaged in the adhesive’s Part A box with 10 nozzle tips for splatter applications, 10 extension tubes for bead applications, a wrench and lithium grease for maintaining the gun’s O-ring and face.
