Seven sessions will run concurrently during each of four education blocks. That format gives attendees a broad selection, but it also makes advance planning important.

Several technical seminars offer AIA or IIBEC continuing-education credit. 

Scheduled speakers include Legal Advisor Trent Cotney, who will address immigration enforcement, risk management and the industry’s legal outlook. Other presenters include John Kenney on AI-assisted estimating and operational growth, Paul Reed on mental health and addiction in the workplace, and Amparo Sancen on hiring and business technology.

Spanish-Language Training Returns

Western Roofing en Español will expand the program with four seminars and two lunch-and-learn sessions presented in Spanish.

The sessions will focus on hiring and onboarding, leadership, business growth, post-sale customer experience, commercial claims, AI, automation and shingle sales. 

Spanish seminars are included within the morning education blocks on Sept. 28 and 29. The two lunch-and-learn sessions require a badge and an additional ticket.

Products, Demonstrations and Competition

The trade show floor will open from 1-6 p.m. on September 28 and from 1:30-5 p.m. on September 29.

Exhibitors will present equipment and materials for roofing, waterproofing and related construction work.

The floor schedule also includes live demonstrations, giving contractors an opportunity to see products in use and ask questions before making purchasing or specification decisions.

The Roofer’s Feud is scheduled for the afternoon of September 28. 

The Roofing Games shingling competition will close on the second day of exhibits from 4-5 p.m. on September 29.

Industry and Business Perspectives

The Legislative Luncheon on September 28 will feature WSRCA political correspondent Craig Brightup and NRCA board chairman Chad Collins.

Their “Year in Review” will examine policy developments involving immigration, worker safety, labor relations, regulation and taxes. The program will also recognize the 2026 Davis Memorial Scholarship recipients.

On September 29, comedian and professional coach Shereen Thor will speak during the Annual Luncheon. Thor’s work centers on leadership, personal development and challenging beliefs that can limit professional growth.

Both luncheons are ticketed events.

Networking Starts Before the Trade Show

Western Roofing Expo begins on September 27 with the Davis Memorial Foundation’s Bob Porter Golf Tournament and Sporting Clays Tournament. Proceeds support scholarships for students pursuing careers in the roofing industry.

That evening, the Welcome Event and Auction will bring attendees together at Paris Las Vegas. Auction proceeds also benefit the foundation’s scholarship fund.

National Women in Roofing will host a Table Talks Breakfast on September 29. The round-robin discussions will cover leadership, professional relationships and challenges faced by women in the industry.
