Liqua-Roof Opens Franchise Expansion Effort
Roof resurfacing brand adds franchise push

Liqua-Roof has opened franchise opportunities nationwide following its addition to the portfolio of franchise development company REP’M Group.
The Cornelius, North Carolina-based company said its roof resurfacing system rebuilds asphalt shingles using what it describes as patented Granulock technology. Liqua-Roof said the system is backed by ASTM testing and includes a 15-year performance warranty.
Founder Carmelo Marsala said the product is intended as an alternative to roof replacement.
“Liqua-Roof isn’t a paint or an oil-based rejuvenator,” Marsala said in a statement. “It’s a resurfacing solution that actually puts the protective granules back on the roof, making it a true alternative to replacement.”
The company said the business operates as a mobile, service-based model without storefront locations. REP’M Group, which focuses on franchise brand development, said the partnership will support the company’s national expansion plans.
“What Carmelo and his team have built is a category-defining brand with patented technology,” Cary Tober, vice president of franchise development at REP’M Group, said in a statement.
