Superior Roofing LLC, a Colorado-based commercial roofing contractor, has partnered with an investor group to support future growth and complete a long-planned ownership transition.

The Aurora, Colorado-headquartered company said its existing leadership team — including Alex Hannum, Brian Ottman and Max Hannum — will continue to lead operations following the deal.

Founded in 1983, Superior Roofing provides commercial roofing, metal paneling, waterproofing, and maintenance services, with a focus on industrial sectors such as education and healthcare.

The investor group includes MasGroup, BaseCamp Equity, Plexus Capital and Randy Paulson. The partners aim to support expansion across the Rocky Mountain West through organic growth and acquisitions.

“We set out to find a partner that would honor Superior’s culture and history, while giving us the resources to build on our strong foundation,” said Alex Hannum, president of Superior Roofing.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sunflower Bank provided senior debt financing.
