Community Service Day Returns at IRE 2026
The 17th Annual Community Service Day begins at 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 19 in neighborhoods surrounding Las Vegas.

The roofing community will again give back to the IRE host city of Las Vegas as volunteers for the 17th Annual Community Service Day on Jan. 19. Starting at 7:30 a.m., dozens of volunteers from across the roofing industry will donate their time, smarts and skills to repair homes and improve the quality of life for residents in low-income neighborhoods near the city.
Partnering again with Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit geared toward helping homeowners in need, IRE organizers identified neighborhoods in the host city that needed help and sought to help specific residents who otherwise couldn’t afford critical home improvements.
The event has become an annual tradition and a key pillar of any IRE experience for those in the roofing community who want to give back to the host city. Show attendees can sign up to volunteer while registering, and the volunteer registration fee of $35 includes transportation, breakfast, lunch, and beverages.
“We are looking forward to our 17th Community Service Day and for the industry to show up again and help by giving back,” said Brandi McElhaney, show manager with Informa Markets, organizer of the annual event.
The full day of volunteering typically includes making significant home repairs for displaced residents, assisting with roof replacements, exterior maintenance and various renovations. If not able to volunteer in person, attendees can donate to Rebuilding Together during the registration process.
The primary sponsor of the event is Sika Sarnafil. Additional sponsors include GAF, which donates roofing materials for roof replacements; Roofing Contractor; Atlas; CentiMark; and Farrell Roofing, with more sponsors to be announced.
