RAFTR Roofing + Exteriors (RAFTRx), a leader in residential and commercial roofing solutions with a focus on insurance claim services, has acquired Apex General Contracting, a storm restoration and commercial roofing company based in South Beloit, Ill.

The move expands RAFTRx’s platform into Illinois and Wisconsin, increasing the platform's reach to eight brands operating in 15 states, with more than 35 local offices. 

Founded in 2006 by Jim Stringham, Apex General Contracting has become a go-to name in storm restoration and commercial roofing.

Based in Duluth, Ga., RAFTRx brands include Blue Hammer Roofing, Gold Medal Roofing, Humbled Roofing, Kingdom Krafters, Mills Siding and Roofing, Perimeter Roofing, and Regal Roofing.
