Roofing Corp of America announced the purchase of San Diego, Calif.-based A-1 All American Roofing Co., to its growing platform of brands.
In a news release, RCA said the purchase marks RCA’s 14th acquisition since its founding in December 2020. Additionally, A-1 All American Roofing extends RCA’s West Coast market position to the southernmost large market city in the U.S.

RCA said A-1 All American, which specializes in serving multi-family and hospitality clients, will become its 25th branch.
A-1 All American was founded in 1996 by Greg Savran, who, RCA said, will continue to lead the company as a stand-alone entity within its portfolio. RCA added that the company has built “strong and lasting client relationships” by prioritizing their expectations for responsiveness, quality and safety.
“We are very excited for the future of A-1 All American Roofing as a part of Roofing Corp of America,” Savran said. “We believe our customers and team members will quickly see the benefits of our partnership with the dynamic and growing collection of world-class roofing contractors.”
Becoming a Model Platform
RCA, based in Atlanta, has been an aggressive acquirer of roofing contractor firms nationwide, a trend facilitated by CEO Randy Korach's acquisition of RCA from Soundcore Capital Partners in December 2023, following a $413 million capital investment by FirstService Corporation.
Korach, who retains an equity stake in RCA, established one of the first roofing platforms through a time-tested “roll-up” strategy, bringing established regional roofing contractors into its national portfolio.
RCA has positioned itself as a "Home for America's Premier Roofing Contractors," maintaining existing brand names and leadership structures following the acquisition.
In 2023 and 2024, RCA revealed multiple significant acquisitions, showcasing its continuous growth strategy. Notably, in November 2023, Roof Technologies Incorporated, based in New Orleans, became part of the RCA portfolio, marking the company's inaugural entry into the Louisiana market.
Further expansion in 2024 included the addition of Hamilton Roofing in May and Crowther Roofing & Cooling in June, significantly increasing RCA's presence in the Florida market.
Later in the year, Dynamic National, a prominent contractor in the multi-family roofing sector, joined RCA in November 2024. Dynamic National included multiple branches, adding greater depth to the platform.
Leadership
This past April, Korach expanded his leadership team with the addition of Doug Duncan, an industry vet who was previously president of Nations Roof Illinois, where he played a significant role in building and guiding the company's operations.
Duncan is also the current chairman of the National Roofing Contractors Association's board, highlighting his deep industry ties and thought leadership.
“We’ve been looking for the right partner in the San Diego market for some time and are proud that Greg and A-1 All American Roofing are now part of the family,” Korach said. “They extend our reach into targeted market segments and geographically.”
RCA’s model, like that of another early entrant, Omnia Exterior Solutions, represents the best practices template that other, newer entrants into the consolidation space have since replicated.
