Roofing Corp of America Welcomes Springer-Peterson Roofing & Sheet Metal
RCA’s 15th acquisition expands its Florida presence

Roofing Corp of America (RCA) has acquired Springer-Peterson Roofing & Sheet Metal to its growing portfolio.
RCA is the fifth-largest roofing contracting firm the United States. The transaction marks RCA’s 15th since its inception and expands its footprint in the state of Florida, where it owns other brands, including Crowther Roofing & Cooling, Hamilton Roofing, and Dynamic National.
Springer-Peterson (S-P) was founded in 1981 by Don Springer and Brooke Peterson in Lakeland, Fla. A few years later, Don’s son Rob joined the business and Brooke departed. Over the next 40 years, Don and Rob built the leading commercial and industrial roofing company in central Florida with the mission of delivering high-quality, cost-effective roofing systems.
Today, Springer-Peterson continues to be led by Rob Springer, who serves as the chairman of the board, and Daniel Boatwright, the company’s president. Both will remain in their roles as the company joins the RCA family. S-P will operate as a stand-alone entity within Roofing Corp of America, partnering closely with our Crowther Roofing and our other businesses across Florida.
“When I finally arrived at the difficult decision to sell our multi-generation family business, Roofing Corp of America was the obvious choice." Rob Springer said. "Their vision for growth and expansion in true partnership with the founders and team members of their acquired businesses resonated with us.”
