ATLANTA — Roofing Corp of America announced that Doug MacRae has joined the Atlanta-based roofing services holding company as its chief operating officer. MacRae arrives at Roofing Corp of America with more than 30 years of experience leading companies in building materials, construction services and specialty chemicals industries.

MacRae has served in general management roles in both global public companies and in entrepreneurial, privately-owned ones. Particularly relevant to the role, MacRae served as president of Tremco Roofing & Building Maintenance and later served as president of the Industrial Division at DuBois Chemicals, Inc., participating in the successful ownership transaction between Aurora Capital Group and The Jordan Company. Early in MacRae's career, he held functional roles in human resources, marketing, sales and business development.

"I’ve known Doug for many years, having worked with him or competed against him for much of my career," said Randy Korach, Roofing Corp of America’s president and CEO. "I admire his intellect, work ethic, and integrity and am supremely confident that he is the right person for this critical role at Roofing Corp of America at this formative stage of our growth and development. His experiences and skills will be immediately put to use as we continue to rapidly scale our enterprise that now includes seven leading roofing companies, operating from coast-to-coast, with more than 700 dedicated, full-time, team members."
