Global Data Services, a St. Louis-based Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner and provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, field service and delivery management solutions, announced the launch of its new ONSIGHT Field Management Portal on Tuesday.

In a May 7 news release, GDS said the new cloud-based service would benefit organizations using subcontractors across various industries, including roofing, siding and other construction-related industries.

The ONSIGHT Field Management Portal provides immediate access for field service organizations. GDS said temporary workers like subcontractors no longer need to download an application on their devices; crews can now access critical information and tools directly from the web. The company said the move lessens the support burden of remote field workers, providing a “seamless and integrated” experience.

Key Benefits for Target Industries:

  • Enhanced Efficiency and Productivity: The ONSIGHT application is engineered to streamline the scheduling and dispatching of on-demand resources.
  • Improved Customer Satisfaction: By speeding up the onboarding of temporary gig workers, field service organizations will experience timely task completion, reduced delays, and the capability to meet customer expectations more effectively.
  • Cost Savings: The ONSIGHT Portal allows businesses to reduce the overhead of managing temporary hardware or software deployments.
  • Increased Accessibility: Gig workers have the same access as employees to crucial operational tools from any location with no required downloads.

"The launch of the ONSIGHT Portal represents our commitment to innovation and our dedication to supporting the needs of industries that rely heavily on field service and delivery operations," said Matthew Maddox, GDS' president.

"We understand the challenges our clients face in managing these complex processes and are confident our new offerings will usher in a new era of efficiency, productivity, and growth for businesses around the globe," Maddox added.
