Gauging the state of an industry as broad and diverse as roofing is never an easy task. Yet, it’s one RC takes on with pride each and every year through our State of the Industry Report coverage. Built on a comprehensive survey circulated in the fall, the report highlights data points, spots trends and offers insights into what roofing contractors are and should be thinking about as a new year sets in.

Roofing contractors and other industry professionals can take a deeper dive into the data with the experts during the free 2024 State of the Industry Webinar at 2 p.m. Feb. 15.

Trent Cotney, partner with Adams & Reese, will join RC Publisher Jill Bloom, Editor-in-Chief Art Aisner and Clear Seas Research Co-CEO Mitch Henderson to help break down the meaningful data from this year’s survey. The panel will also convey what the data says contractors are worried about moving forward – and what they should incorporate into their business now to drive future success.

“I look forward to seeing this data every year because it can help us start to develop solutions for some of the industry’s biggest issues,” Cotney said.

The survey is designed to capture the perspectives of roofers on the successes and challenges they faced in 2023, while keeping an eye on the years ahead. Through the data, the presenters can help roofers gain perspectives on sales trends, product development, workforce issues, new innovations and more that could make a difference in their future success.

For the first time, the study also explored homeowner thoughts and expectations surrounding the roofing consumer journey. Those findings will be part of a future RC report, but attendees will get a glimpse into what homeowners had to say about finding and working with roofing contractors. Comparing the data sets from those survey respondents with contractors led to some interesting findings, Henderson said.

Register today for this free, must-attend webinar and kick-off the year by experiencing content that will help you in planning your roofing company’s continued success.
