Roofing contractors with questions, concerns and general interest about the state of the roofing industry can get a feel for how the rest of the industry is feeling at the start of 2025 during RC’s exclusive 2025 State of the Industry Webinar at 2 p.m. Feb. 27.

As in previous years, the basis of the webinar is RC’s annual survey of roofing contractors and other industry professionals around the country last fall.

Participants can dive deeper into the data with the experts during the free educational session with RC's Legal Insights columnist, Adams and Reese PLLC's Construction practice group chair Trent Cotney.

Our experts will distill the insightful data from this year’s survey while translating what the data means for contractors concerned about uncertainties that may lie ahead in 2025.

“I look forward to seeing this data every year because it can help us start to develop solutions for some of the industry’s biggest issues,” Cotney said. “It also covers what they should consider incorporating into their business now to drive future success.”

The survey is designed to capture the perspectives of roofers on the successes and challenges they faced last year while keeping an eye on the immediate future.

Through the data, the presenters can help roofers gain perspectives on sales trends, product development, workforce issues, innovations and more that could make a difference in their respective markets.

This year's study also explored homeowner thoughts and expectations surrounding the roofing consumer journey for the second consecutive year.

While those findings will be part of a future RC webinar and report, attendees get an exclusive first look into what homeowners said about seeking out and working with roofing contractors.

Mitch Henderson, CEO of myCLEARopinion Insights Hub, a BNP subsidiary, said that comparing data sets from consumer respondents with the contractor data led to some interesting findings.

“We asked some of the same questions of homeowners and roofing contractors and their responses were not always in alignment, which should make for some interesting discussion points,” Henderson added.
