BELOIT, Wis. — ABC Supply has named Tom Wills the recipient of this year’s Ken Hendricks Award. Wills is the managing partner for the building-products distributor’s branch at 40 Conyngham Ave., Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

The Ken Hendricks Award was created to honor the memory of ABC Supply’s Co-Founder Ken Hendricks, and to highlight the values that he and Co-Founder Diane Hendricks championed that have driven ABC Supply since its establishment in 1982.

“Tom Wills embodies the spirit that the Ken Hendricks Award is intended to recognize,” said ABC Supply President and Chief Executive Officer Keith Rozolis. “Tom’s hard work, along with his willingness to help others succeed, has made him a role model who perpetuates the values on which our company was founded.”

A 30-year veteran of ABC Supply, Wills is respected for his business acumen and his ability to develop young associates who go on to be successful managers at other branches. With a low-key managerial style, he has earned the loyalty of his branch associates, most of whom have been with the company for a decade or more.

Wills has earned accolades for management of his branch and also for his contribution to the success of the company’s Northeast region. In 2000, he took a sabbatical from the branch to serve as regional operations manager. For several years, he put his expertise and coaching skills to work at numerous branches to turn an underperforming region into one of the most successful within the company.

Wills received his award on June 18 during the company’s annual Founders’ Celebration event at ABC Supply’s National Support Center in Beloit, Wis.
