Performance Roof Systems Inc. (PRS) announced Texas Roof Management located in Richardson, Texas, as the first Derbigum Authorized Contractor (DAC) to achieve the status of greenDAC.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Performance Roof Systems Inc. (PRS) announced Texas Roof Management located in Richardson, Texas, as the first Derbigum Authorized Contractor (DAC) to achieve the status of greenDAC.

The evolving construction landscape promotes the use of high performance and eco-friendly products in building design and renovation, a challenge that PRS has met head on as an ISO:14001 company along with their product offerings ranging from sustainability in design to energy preservation with a proprietary white membrane to energy production with photovoltaic roofing systems. The result is the greenDAC program. To qualify, the roofing contractor must be an existing DAC in good standing and meet the pre-qualification guidelines based on financial stability, quality of workmanship and services provided to the owner. If the candidate’s organization passes this initial evaluation and is determined to be in the top percentage of DACs, they are introduced to the program and asked to take the environmental and energy evaluation.

On July 24, 2008, Catherine Awtrey and Kevin Hassfurther met with Travis Wallace at their facility and completed the evaluation and investigation process. They exceeded the minimum qualifications for each section and exceeded the minimum overall score designated for their region of the United States.
