PHOENIX - As energy savings and efficiency become increasing priorities, more consumers are doing their homework and finding ways to compensate for the high cost of running their homes, according to the Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association (RIMA), which cites increasing sales of reflective insulation, radiant barrier and IRCC products.

A recent survey taken by RIMA focused on the percentage of individual company growth over the past 12 months. The average growth rate was 26.8 percent, with continued growth expected in the years ahead. Although reflective, radiant barrier and IRCC products presently represent a small segment of the insulation market, RIMA noted that it's clear this proven technology is gaining broad acceptance, and more companies are adding reflective materials to their product lines and disseminating more technical information available to the consumer.
