Eric and Cierra Perry will continue to run Eco Roofing. Under the agreement, One Percent Holdings will handle accounting, payroll, financial reporting and supplier pricing, while the Perrys remain responsible for roofing operations and hiring.

Eric Perry, a third-generation roofer with more than 25 years in the industry, is the immediate past president of the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association. The association named Eco Roofing its Roofing Contractor of the Year in 2022.

"For me, roofing is personal, and so is doing the right thing," Perry said.

Eco Roofing serves residential and commercial customers throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, installing and repairing tile, shingle, foam, flat and rolled roofing systems.

One Percent Holdings founder Cameron Bawden said the partnership is designed to remove some of the administrative burden from the Perrys while allowing them to maintain control of the roofing business.

"We will take the accounting and payroll off their plate so they can put that time into the company," Bawden said.

One Percent Holdings describes itself as an operating partner for established roofing companies, providing accounting, reporting and back-office support while allowing partner contractors to retain their names, brands and leadership.
