Omnia Exterior Solutions Names David Hutchinson COO

Hutchinson brings more than 35 years of home services experience to the innovative management team

Omnia Exterior Solutions, which ranked tenth on the 2026 RC Top 100 list for 2026, announced the addition of David Hutchinson as the company’s chief operating officer (COO). In this new role at Omnia, Hutchinson will focus on continuous improvements and building the systems and processes for Omnia’s next horizon of growth. Omnia is a portfolio company of CCMP Growth Advisors.

“We are intent on developing a unique and innovative approach to the marketplace – what we internally refer to as the Omnia Way,” said Omnia CEO Jeff Kizilbash. “David has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the home services business, from field sales and service all the way to the boardroom. He understands exactly what we are asking of our crews and our sales teams because he has done it.”

Hutchinson's career in residential home services spans more than three decades and began in the field. He started as a repair technician at Sears Home Services and, over 27 years with the company, advanced through service, operations, and sales leadership to region vice president. He went on to lead Home Depot Exteriors, The Home Depot's national custom windows, roofing, and siding business, from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2024, he served as vice president of in-home sales, service, and installation at Conn's HomePlus. Most recently, he was vice president of technical services at Daikin Comfort Technologies, where he led the company's U.S. technical services division.

“This business is won on the roof and at the kitchen table, not in a conference room,” said Hutchinson. “I’m looking forward to getting out to the individual partner companies. The people running these companies built something worth protecting, and I want to learn it from them before I change anything about it.”

Joining Omnia was an easy decision and a perfect fit for his background and experience. "I have run this model before at national scale,” Hutchinson added. “I recognized what Omnia is putting together. Strong local brands with real reputations in their markets, backed by the resources of a platform. The chance to help build that, alongside a leadership team I have known and trusted for years, was not something I was going to pass up."

Hutchinson is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of South Florida.
