Skybound Adds Three Roofing Contractors, Expands to Nine U.S. Markets
The commercial roofing platform also launched operations in Houston, Dallas, Birmingham and Chicago as it accelerates acquisition and organic growth

Skybound Service Partners has added three commercial roofing contractors and opened operations in four major metro areas as the platform continues expanding its national footprint one year after launching.
The Garnett Station Partners-backed company announced partnerships with David M. Maines & Associates, Unicoat Industrial Roofing and Technique Roofing Systems. The companies will retain their existing brand names and local leadership teams.
David M. Maines & Associates was founded in 1989 in Lewistown, Pa., and serves customers across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Unicoat Industrial Roofing, founded in 2000 in Bradenton, Fla., operates throughout Florida and the Southeast. Technique Roofing Systems was established in 1992 in Helena, Ohio, and serves markets across Ohio and the Midwest.
The additions bring Skybound’s portfolio to five commercial roofing contractors. Roof Technology Partners, based in Woodstock, Ga., and Quality Trusted Commercial Construction & Roofing, based in Minneapolis, joined the platform in 2025.
Skybound also launched greenfield operations in Houston, Dallas, Birmingham, Ala., and Chicago during the past 12 months. The expansion gives the platform nine branch locations across the United States.
Founded in June 2025, Skybound partners with founder- and entrepreneur-led commercial roofing businesses and provides access to technology, analytics and growth resources. The platform said its capabilities include artificial intelligence tools, drone-based roof inspections, construction management and estimating software, and predictive data analytics.
Skybound reported organic growth of more than 15% across its portfolio.
“Our exponential growth over the past year is due entirely to the strength of our excellent team and partner companies, our commitment to outstanding service and the power of our long-term partnership model,” Skybound CEO Joe Dougherty said.
The company focuses on commercial roof replacements, maintenance, repairs and related specialty services. Garnett Station Partners, a New York-based investment firm, manages approximately $4.5 billion in assets.
