Nations Roof, a Mobile, Ala.-based commercial roofing contractor, announced its acquisition of Grizzly Commercial Roofing, a commercial roofing contractor headquartered in Lafayette, La.. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded by Clint Baer and Phil Devey, Grizzly Commercial Roofing has built a reputation for quality workmanship, responsive service, and relationships with its clients throughout the region. The company specializes in commercial roofing installation, repairs, maintenance, and project support across a variety of commercial and industrial environments.

The acquisition strengthens Nations Roof's presence across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. The addition of Grizzly Commercial Roofing also creates substantial opportunities to further grow Nations Roof's service and national account programs throughout the region.

The company will operate as Grizzly Commercial Roofing, a Nations Roof Company, and existing customer relationships and contacts will remain unchanged.

Nations Roof expanded its national footprint in 2025 through a series of strategic acquisitions and partnerships. In July, the company completed its first acquisition, adding Preferred Roofing Services, a commercial roofing contractor serving the Greater Cleveland area. In November, Nations Roof acquired Boone Brothers Roofing, strengthening its presence across the Midwest. In December, the company further extended its reach through a partnership with State Roofing Systems, a California-based commercial roofing provider headquartered in San Leandro with additional operations in Riverside and service coverage across the western United States.
