La industria de los techos rinde homenaje a los profesionales latinos en su evento más importante del año

El impulso de los contratistas latinos de techado en el mercado norteamericano es real y no va a desaparecer, como lo demuestra una vez más la fuerte asistencia a la International Roofing Expo en Las Vegas.

A lo largo del piso de exhibición, contratistas latinos, representantes de ventas y otros profesionales de la industria estuvieron entre quienes exploraban los productos y servicios más recientes.

Los profesionales latinos representan el 21.3% de la fuerza laboral de techado en Estados Unidos y han impulsado más del 70% del crecimiento de la nueva fuerza laboral en el sector desde 2020. Para los fabricantes que enfrentan una persistente escasez de mano de obra y un panorama cambiante de contratistas, estas cifras subrayan por qué la participación de los contratistas latinos se ha convertido en una prioridad empresarial, y no en una iniciativa complementaria.

Para satisfacer la demanda y aprovechar al máximo la oportunidad, fabricantes, proveedores y organizaciones de la industria están invirtiendo en eventos como IRE, ofreciendo personal bilingüe en los stands de exhibición, así como cursos y certificaciones en español que cubren temas clave como el desarrollo de negocios, reclamaciones de seguros, marketing digital y más.

En el piso de exhibición, gran parte de la energía de los contratistas latinos se concentró en el SRS Distribution Para Latinos Lounge, que se llenó poco después de la apertura del área de exhibición. En su interior, los contratistas de techado aprovecharon una combinación de experiencias sociales y educativas a lo largo del día, que abarcaron desde fundamentos empresariales hasta capacitación en ventas en el hogar, tanto en inglés como en español.
