Winners will receive a high-res logo and a press release template for marketing efforts. They’ll also receive signage for their International Roofing Expo 2027 exhibit booth. The winning entries will be announced Feb. 10.

Last year, show organizers issued about a dozen awards of the year in several categories ranging from business and technology to siding and insulation.

This year’s version of the IRE awards celebrates cutting-edge developments in materials, equipment, tools and services that are revolutionizing roofing and exterior construction for commercial and residential contractors. 

"The innovations featured in the Product Showcase and Awards program are pushing boundaries and setting new standards for quality and ingenuity in the roofing industry," said Show Director Rich Russo. "The International Roofing Expo is honored to celebrate the visionaries who are redefining excellence and driving the future of roofing forward."

"By recognizing outstanding products and solutions, the program helps drive industry progress, encourages innovation and provides professionals with insights into the latest advancements shaping the future of roofing and offers manufacturers and suppliers a platform to showcase the latest.”

According to the IRE website, prize winners will be selected based on: uniqueness, value proposition of product, presentation, and market viability, in equal measure. For the “People’s Choice Award,” industry professionals will vote for the most innovative product in each category. The “Expert’s Choice Award’s panel of select industry experts will vote for the most innovative product(s) overall at the show.
