O’Hara’s Son Roofing announced that CP Rankin Inc., a top-ranked provider of commercial roofing services, has joined the O’Hara’s Son Roofing (OSR) platform, marking OSR’s third strategic addition since its acquisition by an affiliate of Angeles Equity Partners.

The transaction strengthens OSR’s presence across the Eastern United States as the company continues to build a scaled, diversified national commercial roofing services business. CP Rankin’s geographic footprint, customer relationships and service organization are expected to complement OSR’s existing operations.

“CP Rankin has built a highly respected business defined by operational excellence, an extensive self-perform services offering, and strong customer relationships,” said Luke Coleman, CEO of O’Hara’s Son Roofing. “We are thrilled to welcome the CPR team to the OSR platform and are confident this partnership will significantly expand our ability to serve customers across the New England, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.”

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Chalfont, Pa., CP Rankin is a full-service commercial roofing contractor providing re-roofing, new construction, and repair and maintenance services. The company was on RC's Top 100 Contractors list for six years. It operates from seven locations along the East Coast and Southeast and serves a diverse customer base that includes property managers, general contractors, and national retail and commercial clients.

Following the transaction, CP Rankin will continue to operate under its existing name, maintaining its brand identity, leadership team and customer-focused approach.

“Partnering with O’Hara’s Son Roofing is an exciting next chapter for CP Rankin,” said Craig Rankin, founder of CP Rankin. “After 25 years of building a strong services business and trusted customer relationships across the Eastern Seaboard, we are excited to leverage OSR’s national scale and capabilities so we can invest even more in our people, expand our reach, and continue delivering best-in-class roofing solutions.”

With the addition of CP Rankin, O’Hara’s Son Roofing said it will further enhance its ability to serve regional and national customers with expanded capabilities, broader geographic reach, and a continued focus on safety, quality and innovation. O'Hara's Son Roofing made RC's Top 150 Regional Contractor list in 2024.

Massumi + Consoli LLP served as legal counsel to O’Hara’s Son Roofing, while Fox Rothschild LLP served as legal counsel to CP Rankin. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
