O’Hara’s Son Roofing Names Jake Hyatt CEO
Former Nations Roof chief executive takes the helm as Luke Coleman moves to executive chairman

O’Hara’s Son Roofing announced that Jake Hyatt has been appointed CEO, succeeding Luke Coleman, as the Chicago-based commercial roofing contractor continues expanding its national platform.
O’Hara’s Son Roofing (OSR) announced that Jake Hyatt has been appointed CEO, succeeding Luke Coleman, as the Chicago-based commercial roofing contractor continues expanding its national platform.
Coleman will transition to executive chairman and remain involved in OSR’s strategic direction, mergers and acquisitions, and relationships with key customers and suppliers.
Hyatt most recently served as CEO of Nations Roof, a private equity-backed commercial roofing contractor. He brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial roofing and construction services, including overseeing multi-market operations, acquisition integrations and organizational growth.
“Jake is the right person to lead OSR into its next chapter of growth,” Coleman said. “He has built and scaled a platform of similar complexity, and he shares our commitment to safety and operational excellence.”
Hyatt said OSR plans to continue investing in its workforce and safety programs while expanding reroofing and maintenance services and pursuing additional acquisitions.
“Our goal is to continue investing in our people and safety, expanding our capabilities, increasing our reroofing and maintenance services, and pursuing disciplined M&A with a relentless focus on our customers,” Hyatt said.
The leadership change comes after two years of significant expansion for OSR. Angeles Equity Partners acquired the roofing contractor in May 2024 and has since supported a series of acquisitions, including Starkweather Roofing, Total Systems Roofing and CP Rankin.
OSR has also pursued organic growth through multi-year maintenance agreements and large-scale reroofing projects.
The company ranked No. 7 among commercial roofing contractors on RC's 2026 Top 100 Roofing Contractors list, up from No. 11 in 2024.
Angeles Managing Director Sam Heischuber and Operating Partner Adam Lerner said Coleman played a key role in OSR’s growth and that Hyatt’s experience leading multi-market roofing businesses positions him to guide the company through its next phase.
O’Hara’s Son Roofing provides roof installation, repair and maintenance services for commercial, industrial and other large-scale facilities nationwide.
