5 (Way Too) Early Facts About the 2025 Top 100 List
From roofing platform expansion to the most represented states, take a look at how this year's list is shaping up.

Even though Roofing Contractor's definitive list won't be released until August, the editors always have a hard time keeping things completely under wraps.

The submissions for RC's 2025 Top 100 List are in, and RC editors are verifying the information in the content package that accompanies the latest self-reported revenue rankings.
While the undertaking remains underway, a few notable nuggets of information immediately stood out. So, below are five (way too) early things about the 2025 Top 100 List.
STATES IN PLAY
Roughly two dozen different states from communities in Milford, N.H., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., to Irvine, Calif., and Fife, Wash., are represented on this year's list. Texas led the way, again, with 16 total submissions from across the Lone Star State. Florida was next with 12 companies, followed by five each from California and Illinois.
REVENUE WINDOW
This year's range in reported revenue showed growth along all factors of last year's Top 100 List. Though we'll wait just a little longer to disclose the complete list, the 2025 version tops out at roughly $1.5 billion, signifying the fourth consecutive year with a billion-dollar revenue-generating company at the top.

COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL SPLIT
The majority of roofing contractors -- 56% -- that submitted this year identified themselves as residential roofers. A total of44 contractors that submitted information identified themselves as entirely or primarily commercial roofers.
PERSISTENT EXCELLENCE
Among this year's group are eight former commercial or residential roofing contractors of the year, showcasing an ability to perform despite multiple challenges over the years consistently. The representatives also each come from different states, illustrating continued success and growth in their respective markets.
PE PRESENCE
Private equity continues to have a significant impact in the roofing industry. This year, 19 of the companies represented on the list noted an affiliation with a private equity platform. Of those, seven were in the top ten, collectively representing more than $4 billion in roofing revenue.
