One of my duties as editorial director for Roofing Contractor is to serve on an advisory board for the International Roofing Expo (IRE).

Once in a while a company comes along that sets a new level in the industry. Black Rhino (Bold, Inc.) is certainly one of these companies.

On March 27, to very little fanfare, the International Code Council (ICC) announced the availability of the 2012 International Green Construction Code (IgCC).

Tri-Built has announced a new Torch for roofing and many other uses requiring heating and drying. Goss Manufacturing, a Glenshaw, Pa. company, is making the new torch with a launch date scheduled the end of March.

The 2012 International Roofing Expo was held Feb. 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
