The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), a regional association for residential and commercial roofing contractors, distributors, manufacturers and associates who maintain the highest industry standards, announced its new board of directors and the winners of two prestigious awards honoring those who have made significant contributions to the local roofing industry. 

Jerome Reyes, President of Roofers 411, recently announced the company’s completion and publication of its redesigned web site, www.roofers411.com. 

MMPI, a leader the trade show and property management industry, will launch an all new trade show, Buildex Chicago, located at The Merchandise Mart, June 14-16, 2010. 

Polyglass USA announced one of its product lines, Polybrite elastomeric coatings, was recently tested by Factory Mutual and achieved FM 4470 Class 1 approval. 

In the latest update of its ongoing recycling program, the EPDM Roofing Association (ERA) announced that more than five million square feet of EPDM membrane has been recycled since the program’s inception. That total is the largest recorded figure for a recycled commercial roofing product in North America. In all, roughly 1.25 million pounds of reclaimed EPDM membrane has been diverted from landfills in the past three years.

The Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association will be holding their 88th Annual Convention and Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Expo June 16-19 in Orlando, Fla. Both events will be held at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Convention Center.
