The Roofing Alliance, the philanthropic arm of the National Roofing Contractors Association, announced a three-year, $150,000 grant to promote roofing in SkillsUSA, a national organization supporting technical career education. 

An upstate New York roofing contractor was sentenced for attempting to cover up an employee's death by moving the victim and instructing others to clean the scene to hide the lack of workers’ compensation insurance.
