Polyglass USA Inc. announced that its acquisition by MAPEI SpA Italy has been finalized. The sale was concluded on Sept. 30, 2008. Headquartered in Milan, Italy, MAPEI is a privately held international organization composed of over 6,000 employees and annual sales approaching $2.5 billion.

The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) met in Washington, D.C., to update the organization’s 5-year strategic plan, which was scheduled to be approved and launched at the next Board Meeting on Nov. 5-6, 2008, in Atlanta.
