The International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) announced Texas-based Price Roofing Company as the recipient of its 2024 International Torch Awards for Ethics.

The roofing contractor was one of four businesses to receive recognition for what the IABBB called "their outstanding commitment to leadership character and organizational ethics." The winners were honored at a special event in Minneapolis. on Sept. 11. Price Roofing Company received the award for IABBB's Category 1, which includes companies with one to 10 employees.

Established in 1978 by Cecil Price, Price Roofing is based in Amarillo, Texas. In a news release, IABBB said the company has consistently adhered to its principles of integrity and quality through the years, despite changes in the industry. The approach has resulted in a solid customer base and the completion of numerous roofing projects in Amarillo, Lubbock, and the Texas Panhandle. 

"We continue to be humbled and honored that we were selected for this award. We are thankful to serve the Amarillo area and will continue to be Amarillo’s most trustworthy roofing company for many years to come!" the company said in a Facebook post.

Price Roofing Company is a 2020 and 2024 Torch Award for Ethics recipient from the BBB of Amarillo.  

Presented annually since 1996, the BBB International Torch Awards for Ethics recognize businesses in North America that maintain outstanding dedication to upholding ethical business practices and promoting trust in the marketplace. Companies were evaluated against four criteria including the character of the organization’s leadership; if and how an authentic culture is being fostered; the company’s transparent relationship with its customers; and the impact the organization is making in the local community.
