Highland Roofing Company announced last Wednesday that it had expanded into Charlotte with the opening of a new office to provide commercial roofing repairs, maintenance, reroofing and new construction services for all types of commercial roofing systems and facilities.

In an April 10 news release, the company said that the office would be managed by Nick Catalano, business development manager, DJ Dean, service department manager and Operations Specialist Robert Isaac. Highland has won bids for projects in the region, including reroofs with SKA Consulting at UNC Charlotte’s Holshouser Hall and Cone North buildings; a reroof of West Mecklenburg High School with REI Engineers; a reroof of the Selwyn Flats multi-family community with Cushman & Wakefield; and a new construction project for Barringer Construction.

Notable repair and maintenance clients include Storage Asset Management, Rivercrest Realty and KIPP Schools.

“Many clients we currently serve in Raleigh and Wilmington have asked us to also serve them at their Charlotte facilities, so we are pleased to open this new office to best accommodate their roofing needs throughout the state,” said Jeanette Omdalen, president and owner of Highland Roofing Company.

“We look forward to acquiring new clients in the region and providing them with exceptional service and quality at a fair price,” she added.

The company said it is actively looking to hire account managers, construction managers, project managers and service technicians as it continues growing its regional client base. In addition to Charlotte, Highland Roofing Company operates offices in Raleigh and is headquartered in Wilmington, N.C. The Charlotte branch address is 2223 Interstate North Drive, Charlotte, N.C.
