Founded 16 years ago and headquartered in Wilmington, N.C., Highland Roofing Company is a premier commercial roofing company. The company has installed, repaired and maintained roofs for most of Wilmington’s landmark facilities.
Highland has since expanded with an office in Raleigh, N.C., and is proud of the trust earned and the relationships built with leading general contractors, property management firms, large corporations, medical and multi-tenant retail clients throughout the Carolinas.
“I am very proud of what Highland has become, but it’s time for new leadership,” said Fergusson. “I consider myself very lucky to have found great new owners who are buying Highland for exactly what it is and plan to continue the company’s success and to build upon, and further improve the great culture and team I’m so proud to have developed over the years.”
Fergusson and Rebecca Fergusson will work together with Omdalen and Schmidt to ensure a smooth transition.
“We fell in love with Highland due to the team and culture,” said Omdalen. “Iain, Rebecca, and the Highland team have built a tremendous company, and we look forward to building on that foundation by continuing the Highlander Way, which means doing the right thing for Highland’s customers, partners, people, and the planet.”
