PHOTOS: Community Service Day at IRE 2023
Contractors, industry salespeople and office professionals collectively spent the day before the International Roofing Expo's kickoff by rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty helping residents in different Dallas neighborhoods.
The boots-on-the-ground work is the heart of IRE’s “Community Service Day,” organized annually by Informa Markets in each city hosting the three-day expo. The event's perennial sponsor, Sika Sarnafil, again stepped forward, as it has done for the last dozen-plus years, helping cover most of the day’s costs.
“This is Sika Roofing’s 13th year sponsoring Community Service Day and its one of our favorite events each year,” said Bill Bellico, Sika’s vice president for Marketing and Inside Sales. “It not only is a great way to bring some of our own people together, but the broader roofing industry to give back to the local community.”
