PODCAST: CentiMark Becomes Industry’s First Billion-Dollar Roofer

CentiMark Corporation has been a leader in the commercial roofing space for decades, and certainly no stranger to RC’s annual Top 100 list, where they’ve consistently been at or near the top for years.

As 2021 comes to a close, hear company leaders Tim Dunlap and John Godwin share how reaching $1 billion in sales started as a dream that became a team mission in this episode of the RC Podcast Show.

CentiMark was founded in 1968 by Edward B. Dunlap, now chairman. The company's first-year sales was $98,500. The company achieved $1 million in 1974, $10 million in 1984, $100 million in 1994, $500 million in 2012, $800 million in 2020 and $1 billion in 2021.

CentiMark’s growth is a result of organic geographical expansion of office locations, starting with its first office in Pittsburgh, Pa., to expanding to 95 offices throughout North America.
