AGAWAM, Mass. — Sean Dougherty, a veteran of the commercial roofing industry with more than 20 years of experience, has re-joined OMG Roofing Products as national sales manager for its growing solar business. 

In his new position, Dougherty is responsible for developing sales strategies and plans for growing OMG’s line of PowerGrip Solar Mounts among both new customers and existing accounts. In this capacity, he will work closely with OMG’s field sales, technical, and marketing teams to drive product sales and specifications. He reports to Kevin Kervick, solar business manager.

Dougherty has extensive experience in the commercial roofing industry, including 13 years in sales at OMG Roofing Products, most recently as a regional sales manager. He returns to OMG from Johns Manville of Denver, Colo., where he spent the past four years as a senior sales representative. Sean started his roofing career with GAF Materials Corporation in 2001.

Dougherty holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y. He is on the board of directors of the Carolina Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractor’s Association, and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.
