BRAMPTON, Ontario — IKO recently recognized a number of its ROOFPRO member companies with IKO Service Excellence Awards, earned for providing best-in-class customer service.

This year’s five IKO Service Excellence Award winners, as selected by GuildQuality, are: Great Canadian Roofing, of Edmonton, Alberta; J Smegal Contracting LLC, of Pittsfield, Mass.; JML Roofing & Renovations Inc. in Sunnyside, Manitoba; KPG Roofing and Renovations in Pincourt, Quebec; and Niko Roofing Ltd., from Calgary, Alberta.

GuildQuality is a third-party service provider that specializes in performance benchmarking. The company surveys consumers so that companies can monitor trends and adjust their operational procedures to maximize the performance of their teams as well as the reputation of their businesses.

In selecting this year’s winning companies, GuildQuality considered the overall satisfaction score for each of the nominated companies as well as a “recommendation score,” which assessed whether homeowners would recommend the roofing company to their family and friends.

“ROOFPRO members are among the most reputable roofing companies in business, so we knew that competition for these awards would be intense,” said Nicole Gray, ROOFPRO loyalty program manager. “Hundreds of clients were surveyed, and the average recommendation rate was 98.92%.”
