The service is free to buyers by registering on the site, which then provides immediate access to scrolling classified listings of equipment and all related sundries for sale by third-party entities. To sell equipment on FoamRig.com, a registered user creates a listing that immediately goes live to an international audience of interested buyers. FoamRig.com connects buyers and sellers and does not participate in the financial transaction.

The site currently sorts categories into 12 sections, from turnkey spray foam rigs to proportioning units, coating pumps and parts, generators, compressors, PPE, tools, and accessories, as well as insulation blowing machines and insulation removal vacuums.
