Malarkey Roofing Products has promoted Gregory B. Malarkey to president and has named Dale Rushing as its chief operating officer. 

“The product innovations Malarkey Roofing Products has introduced to the market in the last year have exceeded our expectations in terms of performance, sustainability and value to our customers,” Malarkey said. “I’m proud to assume this position within the company that my grandfather started in 1956, and humbled to lead an organization staffed with enthusiastic, dedicated, and talented individuals"

Malarkey most recently served as senior vice president, where he led several innovations, such as The Zone® nailing area, Highlander® NEX® & Vista® polymer modified asphalt shingles and most recently, the industry’s first smog-reducing shingle. An industry veteran, he’s also held leadership roles within the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association, the Asphalt Roofing Environmental Council and Asphalt Institute. Malarkey is the only two-time winner of the Outstanding Service Award from Western States Roofing Contractors Association.

Rushing comes to Malarkey with over 20 years of experience in roofing products. Most recently, the Mississippi State University graduate served in leadership roles overseeing operations, finance and administration for a building materials manufacturer.
