Pli-Dek Con-Dek System Receives Coveted Miami-Dade NOA Approval

MURRIETA, Calif. — ICP Building Solutions Group (ICP BSG) announces its Pli-Dek® Con-Dek System has been awarded a coveted Miami-Dade NOA approval (NOA No. 17-1206.16) from the Miami-Dade Building Department. The approval was issued Jan. 23, 2020.

Con-Dek, which also has a Florida Product Approval, is the only cementitious waterproofing product on the market with the Miami-Dade NOA approval, after undergoing a rigorous testing procedure to ensure it met the high standards required in the Miami-Dade market.

“We’re proud that the Con-Dek System passed through the difficult Miami-Dade testing procedure and came through with flying colors,” said Dawn Ramirez, lead generation administrator, ICP BSG. “Our commitment to bringing roofing and waterproofing professionals the most dynamic and durable products continues, and we are excited to offer our customers the highest-rated products on the market.”

The Con-Dek System is a one-hour, Class “A” fire rated waterproof deck coating for concrete substrates that offers high durability and low maintenance for exterior use. The system is designed for high-traffic pedestrian balconies, roof decks, walkways and stairs where waterproofing and durability are essential.

Backed by the more than 35-year legacy of industry stalwart Pli-Dek, the Con-Dek System provides excellent moisture vapor control and extreme durability (including meeting High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements). Its unlimited finishing options, combined with its 10-year warranty, make it the go-to deck coating for the harshest conditions.

The Con-Dek System consists of a 0.75-ounce fiberglass mat, elastomeric resin and a durable polymer cement finish coat.
