An ASTM International member since 1984, Pierce was honored for her distinguished contributions and personal commitment to the committee and to the North American roofing community through her dedication and leadership in the industry. In her time as a member of ASTM International she also received the Award of Merit (1998) and the Award of Appreciation (2017).

Pierce has served as the vice president of technical services, codes, and industry relations for GAF  since 2007, having previously held multiple positions with GAF and TAMKO Building Products.
