OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association recently held a reception in Overland Park, Kan. for local roofing contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.  

Rachel Pinkus, managing director, Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA), said it’s become tradition that MRCA hold a reception each spring in the city of the organization’s conference and expo.

The 70th Annual MRCA Conference and Expo is set for Nov. 20-22 at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kan. Last year, the event was held in Omaha, neb. 

Pinkus said the spring reception gives MRCA members and non-members a chance to meet with the MRCA board and committee members, as well as see the conference site.

Reception attendees heard from Membership Committee Chair Ronnie Mcglothlin of Empire Roofing Inc., Conference Promotion Committee Chair Luke Haines, of Roofmasters Roofing and Sheet Metal, and MRCA Vice President Fred Horner, of Advanced Industrial Roofing Inc.
